Kejriwal slams HM Shah over false promises to Delhi's slum dwellers

Kejriwal slams HM Shah over false promises to Delhi's slum dwellers

Arvind Kejriwal, the AAP National Convenor, criticized Union Home Minister Amit Shah for misleading slum dwellers in Delhi. Kejriwal accused Shah of lying about the BJP’s "Jaha Jhuggi Waha Makaan" scheme, claiming the BJP has no intention of building homes. He pointed out that in the 11 years since the BJP came to power, only 4,700 homes have been built for the 4 lakh slum dwellers in Delhi. He argued that at this rate, it would take 1,000 years to provide homes to everyone. Kejriwal warned that in the next five years, the slums in Delhi would be demolished, leaving people homeless and on the streets.
